Helping people orient to cultural dynamics of international institutions

We enjoy learning about the cultures in which we work and sharing what we learn with others. We produce cultural seminars including modules on Somali culture, migration, religion in Ethiopia, highland culture, understanding poverty, language learning techniques, as well as developing new material to meet new demands.

As part of the cultural training we provide in Ethiopia, Desert Rose research consultant Martha and Ermeas have prepared a seminar which helps orient Ethiopian professionals to the cultural dynamics of international institutions.

They’ve been interviewing CEOs and Directors like Steadman Harrison, Regional Director of the Centre for Creative Leadership in Africa and Anne-Beatrice Bullinger, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Ethiopia, to learn from their experiences working with Ethiopian professionals. These interviews will be used to inform modules within the seminar. Watch this space!
